About 1.1.1.1

1.1.1.1 has evolved from a pure DNS service to a brand known throughout the industry.

1.1.1.1 is a partnership between Cloudflare and APNIC. Cloudflare had the network. APNIC is the IP address (1.1.1.1). Both were motivated by the goal of helping to build a better Internet.

Since its launch on 01.04.2018, 1.1.1.1 has become one of the most widely used DNS servers worldwide and has expanded its offer to date with encrypted communication (DoH/DoT), a VPN service (1.1.1.1 +WARP) and a family-friendly offshoot. It is one of the very few offers from Cloudflare for endusers and completely free.
